Bravo Senator Harkin For Picking Up The Pace
Bravo To Senator Tom Harkin who slammed General Pace on the issue of Dont ask Dont tell
policy in the Military yesterday in the committee hearing.
He told the General that when he puts on those stars, his 'personal' and religious
beliefs should be left at the door.
Senator Harkin explained to Pace that everyone in the Military serves with distinction
and it is unfair to single out certain groups of people such as gays.

harkin's words should come as a clue to other senators -- these generals -- including petraeus -- come as political figures not as military personnel.

Why do we do that to ourselves here in Iowa? No matter how many times I vote against Lawnmower man, he still winds up in office.

Sen. Harkin is more of a man that General Pace could ever imagine being. Sen. Harkin stands up for the disabled and minority rights and for all of our men and women in uniform. Gen. Pace is apparently a man without morales and with a lot of political/religious motivations that he tries to spread through our military ranks. Good riddance to the general and thank you to Sen. Harkin.
