We sat down for the theft and paid the consequences. If Gore has chosen not to run, which is apparently his decision, we have to accept that sometimes mistakes can't be undone.
It's no longer a matter of "obsession" or whatever spin the media might offer. It's a matter of duty. He's the man for the job, and that will remain true whether he actually seeks the job or not. But it isn't up to us, of course. It's up to him and I respect his right to see it differently.
politician not corrupted with a huge following that will allow him to easily get the nod from the american people, if gore does not run then we are doomed to the corpratocracy ruining america and the world. I mean the man does have a choice but i would think that if the man needed a mandate to run he has it and I feel he has a civic duty to save america from our own demise.
Yes, he has said he isn't a candidate. Then he'll make another comment that leaves the door open. Time will fix this one way or the other because it will become apparent he isn't or he will say whether he is in or out in a definitive manner.
I have signed the petition though. I've received bumper stickers and made a contribution to draft Gore. However, I'm still supporting Kucinich and Richardson while I wait. I'm not going to just sit on my ass and wait.
