1. I worked for Gore in 2000
I gave it my best shot and so did he.

Gore has moved on to do good things and I have moved on and will support the Dem candidates now running.

5. It's America's loss that her citizens let the SC get away with screwing us
in 2000 without much more than a whimper.

8. Yep, we made our beds in 2000.
We sat down for the theft and paid the consequences. If Gore has chosen not to run, which is apparently his decision, we have to accept that sometimes mistakes can't be undone.

6. I agree... but I still wish he would run.
It's no longer a matter of "obsession" or whatever spin the media might offer. It's a matter of duty. He's the man for the job, and that will remain true whether he actually seeks the job or not. But it isn't up to us, of course. It's up to him and I respect his right to see it differently.

7. He said he wasn't running?
You would think the boards would be filled up with it if he'd actually come out and said that he wasn't.

Got a link to his comments?

9. he is the only
politician not corrupted with a huge following that will allow him to easily get the nod from the american people, if gore does not run then we are doomed to the corpratocracy ruining america and the world. I mean the man does have a choice but i would think that if the man needed a mandate to run he has it and I feel he has a civic duty to save america from our own demise.

13. I'm not convinced
Sorry, but it is easy to say "If nominated I will not run, if elected I will not serve". It's been done. Hell Newty did it just this week. It's easy.

14. Time will settle this I guess.
Yes, he has said he isn't a candidate. Then he'll make another comment that leaves the door open. Time will fix this one way or the other because it will become apparent he isn't or he will say whether he is in or out in a definitive manner.

16. I'll believe it when it happens.
I have signed the petition though. I've received bumper stickers and made a contribution to draft Gore. However, I'm still supporting Kucinich and Richardson while I wait. I'm not going to just sit on my ass and wait.
