Hyping the fundraising race...the media salivates and declares the winners

Fundraising and pay attention to the money is the mantra in elections today. The media sits mesmerized by the shiny coins and the kaching as donors' contributions hit the campaign coffers. Winners are declared based on fundraising prowess. Today it's Hillary and her gold and the Mittster and his heavy wallet. And we sit here and let people tell us that the media is right. That big donors and corporate cash doesn't flow to losers.

This is the one election, of all elections, in which the individual must count. That single vote of the small donor who took the time to listen to what was being said. Let razzle dazzle and kingmakers hold no sway. We need to free ourselves of the suffocating influence of big bidness and the media money machine. One person at a time. One voter at a time. One idea at a time.
