Federal judge refuses to release Siegelman on appeal bond

A federal judge Thursday refused to release former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman on bond while his government corruption conviction is appealed.

U.S. District Judge Mark Fuller of Montgomery ruled that Siegelman had not shown that he has a substantial chance of winning his case on appeal.

Siegelman and former HealthSouth CEO Richard Scrushy were convicted last year of bribery and other charges. In June, Fuller sentenced them to federal prison terms and ordered them immediately taken into custody, without giving reasons for refusing to release them on bond while their convictions were appealed.

1. A Bushie Judge, I would guess, a criminal in robes

and a man who has likely subverted the law dozens of times in ways large and small to benfit his Bushie masters.

Now he comes through once again.

As in Nazi Germany, what does one do when the people chosen to uphold the laws are now chosen for Loyalty to Fuhrer and Party? What does one do when the law enforcers are more criminal than the criminals?

We are now finding out, and it has only just begun. And as always, be it Caesar, Stalin, Hitler, or Bush, it always begins by neutralizing the opposition at the top, leavingthe Little People alone until all the pieces are in place.

Careful, it's almost 1938 in Amerika now...
