13. out of her mouth:
1. The U.S. doesn't torture.
2. We have policy and laws that prevent us from torturing.
3. We meet our laws and obligations.

4. Memos (laws?) on "interrogation" are classified for a reason/and they are secret so we won't broadcast to terrorists what we do or how we do it.

5. the pResident of the United States works very hard to keep us safe from terrorists attacks.

6. And to the question asked of her, What is the difference between harsh legal interrogation and torture, she simply answered, U.S.A. policy does not allow for torture.

7. to the question whether key senators in the intelligence commitee SAW the memos on torture, she answered, "I don't know if they saw the memos. They were briefed on the memos."

8. To the question, if there is nothing in those memos that allows for torture, what are you hiding?
she replied, the president is staying within our laws to protect people.

and, when Helen Thomas said, the people in Iraq are not AlQaeda, they are Iraqis defending their country, she just said, "No, Helen. No!"

9. It was more her general attitude that was so cloying, as if she's gotten down pat the condescending
tone that Tony Snow did so well, but she's lacking the mental agility to go with it and carry off
his complete evasiveness, so she just comes off as an empty-headed woman with nice hair, willing
to defend Bush to the death.

One reporter asked her about the Administration's view of torture, since there were different memos
at different times which confused the issue. She wriggled her way out of answering that question.
But a few minutes later another reported brought it up and said, (in essence, not verbatim)
"Why don't you just give us a simple definition of what the administration thinks 'torture' is?"
She hemmed and hawed, and said things like, 'I'm not gonna discuss that,' and, 'I've already
addressed that,' and 'We don't want to give the terrorists that information because we know
that they train to resist our methods.' The reporter tried to insist that all he wants is
the definition of torture, as Bush sees it, but she repeated that she could not/would not answer
that question.

She shows a complete lack of respect for the reporters and the public at large - as do all members
of this criminal cabal that's ransacked Washington and destroyed our Constitution in ways that we're
only beginning to find out!! How many years will it take us to undo the wrongs that they've done?
I hate to even imagine.

I have only seen her briefly and she does get a look on face that makes it obvious that she is lying (which is most of the time!)

17. and, she was absolutely condescending towards Helen Thomas when Helen pointed out that
the people in Iraq are Iraqis fighting for their country and Dana simply said, "No, Helen. No!"

like truth is not even allowed within that press room nor the white house grounds.

16. the words out of her mouth weren't funny, they were words that made me, at least, boiling mad.
Ha. Ha. and Ha.. . was meant as: Lies. Lies and more Lies!

and these were the words out of her mouth:

1. The U.S. doesn't torture.
2. We have policy and laws that prevent us from torturing.
3. We meet our laws and obligations.

4. Memos (laws?) on "interrogation" are classified for a reason/and they are secret so we won't broadcast to terrorists what we do or how we do it.
