9. Really?
(Not a sarcastic question).

I lived in the Fredericksburg area (Spotsylvania County)and spent my time there freaked out because I was certain I was one of three Democrats that lived there ... are other regions of the state more likely to vote Democratic?

I also lived in Alexandria where the quest was for the almighty dollar and nothing else seemed to matter.

4. difficult in 08 since Holt's election audit protections were shot down by some DUers - indeed that
is the thing (DRE election theft that will not be found by audit since there will be no audits) that I suspect may give us a GOP president in 08.

7. Wasn't Texas blue not to long ago? A governor by the name of Ann Richards?
I think Rove worked hard to turn Texas Red. Now is the time to turn it back.

8. I'm Talking At The Presidential Level
Last time TX went blue Muhammad Ali was still heavweight champion of the world, John Travolta was Vinny Barbarino, and Night Moves was at the top of the record charts...

11. Yep, you got it pretty close
And Ann, rest her wonderful soul, was a recepient of a gaffe from the Republican asshole she was running against in 1990. I believe Clayton Williams was leading the polls before his statement about rape and just "lie back and enjoy it."

Maybe you were young...

It was really his comeback in the 70's after being stripped of his heavyweight title for refusing to be inducted into the U S Army that defined his career and established him as a transcendent figure...

16. Kentucky is trending that way. We elect a new governor in Nov
If you want to help, go to the Change for Kentucky link below in my sig line. A Dem governor and AG would really help.. If the Republican AG candidate wins he will go after Dem voters and candidates. He's a theocratic asshole that is not adverse to using the courts to punish opponents.
