Birthday Rant & Roll: When you require and recruit from the ruthless, you get their other
baggage as well - penchant for lying, deviated sex, and gluttony to name a few of those extra bags. When you nurse hyperbolic views, then try to manage and manipulate those views, you can expect the disoriented mess that currently describes the Republican Party. When those self-same ruthless recruits, as elected representatives, reveal their unprincipled natures by raiding our US treasury for their own self-interest, then disparage Democrats for like behaviors, the shamelessness of their ruthlessness shines through. If republicans wish to repair their party, their one hope lay in first recognizing that the interlocutory that is the RNC stole their party before they stole our constitutional representative democracy, and then dismantling this ruthless-inspired allegiance-demanding organization in favor of our forefathers' original intent and vision. Much the same (though much more minor-league) can be said to the democrats regarding the DLC.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch,
We the people see our federal government whoring at the trough of our tax dollars while

Our planes become missiles;
Our bridges fall;
Our cities drown;
Our schools fail.

Wait, there's more...

Our jobs, technology, inventiveness and the various economic engines of prosperity are casually given over to cheap foreign labor markets in the pursuit of idealistic globalist agendas and for "productivity efficiency" (i.e., greed);

Our street corners are witness to a changing of the guard from Viet Nam War era homeless veterans and all those for whom the term "Housing Bubble" has been utterly meaningless to homeless Afgan and Iraqi War vets saddled with psychic damage well beyond their missing limbs and futures.
Our towns and cities are overrun with cheap labor which, by creating a new economic slave class, has driven down the value of labor in construction, medicine, the services and support industries, light manufacturing, and the food industry (so far);

Our health care system is running into the ground for profit, not by healing the infirm;

Our retirement system is penniless and, like our health care, is on the road to collapse;

Our environment is sold to the highest bidders or biggest political contributers while our planet's climate spirals toward runaway global catastrophe we euphemistically term Global Warming as if it portended a day at the beach;

Our dollar's value is reduced 50% without so much as a single public discourse or announcement;

Our rights and freedoms are eroding away because, for the incompetent, its the expedient solution, for the ruthless, the Holy Grail;

Our profiteering corporate press readily misinforms the electorate whenever it serves the interests of the wealthy and powerful, dutifully providing the necessary unimpeded conduit for psychological propaganda operations;

and,

in what may fundamentally explain how we got into this mess,
by massive vote stripping that has denied millions their right to vote and by digital manipulation of electronic vote tabulation afforded by modern software-driven electronic voting systems,
Our elections and the process of electing our representatives have been stolen (along with a significant number of elected posts).

All the while, our kids are used as fodder in a geo-political Rubik's Cube benefiting only those in wealth and power at the expense of the people and treasure of this country.

Washington is a mess! And for what? To vilify Iran so we can continue our march across Asia toward global domination viv-a-vis China? Iranians - Persians - are a lot like us. We both, as peoples and cultures, share many of the same outlooks and values. The Chinese are every bit as parochial and entrepreneurial as Americans. They invented bureaucracy (currently labeled communism). Now, we are dutifully expected to regard these peoples Enemies of the State. Phooey!

Phooey, I say! I reject the ruthlessness. I reject the expediency and greed. I want responsible government. I want responsive government. I want representative government. I want government that projects and works toward the establishment of human dignity through peaceful means and by example; a government whose goal is health, security, opportunity, and prosperity shared by all of its citizens; a government that espouses like goals within all nations providing peaceful assistance toward those ends. I want my country to be the best, not the most ruthless. I am not alone.

Assess the situation, America. Take stock of where we are and where we are going. Its not a pretty picture. We are not better than we were. We are not safer than we were. We are careening, whether figuratively or actually, toward a future inspired by the ravings of Rapturists: Armageddon. And along the way, we are told by MSM, "Hillary or Gulliani. They're your choices. So, shut up and choose."

This is why I will vote for and support Dennis Kucinich for president. Strength through peace in 2008.

Thank you for partaking of my birthday rant & roll!

1. Birthday "S&R"
That's spank and recommend.
(No sexual innuendo intended. Kids spank each other on their birthdays here. Do they do that where you are, too?)

Happy birthday Kip! I'm glad you were born!
