Poll question: ROUND 3--Who do you NOT want to see get the Democratic nomination?
Hillary Clinton was eliminated in Round 1 with a solid majority of 61%

Dennis Kucinich is now eliminated in Round 2 with a plurality of 33%

There a 6 candidates left.

Again a reminder: I'm going to post a poll asking you to vote for the person you LEAST desire to get the Democratic nomination for POTUS. The winner (who will actually be the loser) will be dropped from the list, and I'll post another poll with that candidate's name removed. I will repeat the process, until, by elimination, one candidate is "chosen" by those participating.

Remember vote for the one you DON'T want to get the nomination. I'd appreciate if you will keep this kicked. I'm doing an experiment. The candidates are presented in alphabetical order.

Of those remaining (remember Hillary is gone, so don't ask where she is...she was in poll #1) who do you want to eliminate from getting the nomination? Again, in alphabetical order:

2. I'm surprised.
Bill Richardson is further right than any of the other candidates, and not particularly electable, since most people in the US don't know who the hell he is. I'm surprised at these results.

10. Can't agree on the electability
He may not be well known, but historically, governors are far more electable than senators, Democrat or Republican. Bill Clinton was not especially well known in 1991.

16. Personally, the candidates I support in primaries aren't just the
candidates I agree with most on the issues. I also consider effectiveness and general election strength as well. Carter wasn't a very effective president IMO, though I may have agreed with him on many issues. I agreed with Mondale on many of the issues, but he was a weak campaigner, imo.

13. I agree. That's what I was thinking last round.
Edwards is a good candidate and a good man, and there aren't too many people who don't like him. Yet, he's not a lot of people's favorite. Why is that?

I want Gore but I would pretty happily vote for Edwards.

15. Edwards is probably my second choice
but I would really hope that Kucinich would be his VP.

Now THAT would bring some REAL change.

20. Because he's such a popular governor
And we know governors make lousy presidential candidates, right?

Never mind that he has by far the most experience of the bunch. ;)

rounds of elimination votes and the least objectionable wins.
