What do you think about the easy access to chemicals we have used in the creation of explosives and
illegal drugs?

As American's, our large economy and stable infrastructure allow us the ability to attain chemicals that can be easily made into high explosives and mind-altering chemicals. How do you feel about this?

1. You can make explosives and drugs out of common household items
You can kill somebody with a baseball bat or tennis racket.

Ban them all?

5. There was something recently on television about how
today's chemistry sets are nothing like the ones when I was a kid. They said that they have taken so many crucial elements out of them that they are no longer very useful for learning.

As an aside, another interesting fact they stated was that back in the 50's-60's, there were regular chem sets for boys & modified, toned down sets for girls. :eyes:

My take is if someone is that determined to wreak havoc they will find a way, no matter what. We have become a nation of scardey cats.

6. I dunno, but the post-9/11 hysteria is killing hobby soapmakers
due to the difficulty in buying sodium hydroxide (they don't sell lye locally anymore, at least around here).
