Could this be a reason why our democratic representatives and senators
"appear" to be so weak on our issues regarding the war and FISA and our rights.

They want the same power the republicans had for themselves when they are in full charge?

1. Not a comforting thought.
I don't want tyrants from any party.

2. Well, I can't come up with any other good reason. As hard as I try. Really.
I am just so upset with the lot of them right now.

3. It's beyond frustrating, isn't it?
Your idea may be correct. But if that's what they're after, then I don't trust that bunch of Dems, either.

Anyone who wants that much power is trouble.

4. It might make for a good scare tactic though
If Republicans think we can spy on them like they have been doing to Democrats and use the Justice Dept to only go after Republicans and not be answerable to anyone at all as Bush* is claiming, they just might get a glimmer. I believe recognition that Republicans more than likely will not win in '08 is starting to set in. They very well just might start really worrying. I know how they like to think that everyone does the things they do so they will be running scared. I don't think they will go into full paranoid function until after the Primaries are over though..

6. I am suggesting they may reconsider after they give it some thought and actually join
the Democrats in trying to repeal some of those Powers granted the "Unitary Executive" I am quite certain they would not like to be treated the way our Democratic Majority has been treated by this Administration and I am also quite certain our Democrats don't want to treat other people like this. I actiually believe Democrats do want to live under the Constitution, they are just not quite sure how to go about getting back to it..

9. If someone can be blackmailed, do they deserve to be voted for and supported.
I just cannot get myself to believe it, if it were true they are truly miserable.

10. I've only heard you say it this time, so would you mind telling me what in the world...
... can so deplete a members reputation in government that they wouldn't risk exposing and going after unconstitutional government, when they know full well the alternative if this is not challenged?

Or, are you telling me something other than this?
