Poll question: War criminals of the Bush/Cheney administration
vote your choice, there is an "other" that could be an individual or an organization-who has accountability/responsibility for the war crimes of this criminal, corrupt administration?

1. I thought this was a posting about a pinup calendar
for right wingers. Can't you just see it==Cheney wearing a Mr. February Sash and very little else, while holding an AK47 and one foot stomping down on the neck of an Iraqi child? It's enough to make them all say, "Hubba, hubba"

2. Other:
All of the above except those members of the Congress who have actually firmly, and consistently, opposed the bush administration, in word, in vote, and with bills introduced.

3. All of the above and more -- much more. Don't forget the upper reaches of the Pentagon where the
well-connected civilian leadership have prospered mightily over the decades. The entire "Defense" industry NEEDS war -- not just to justify its existence, but to keep the contracts and profits rolling in. Too many people have been making too much money for too long to risk world peace breaking out.

Now, through the bush* years, the corruption has been reaching further into the Pentagon brass as well -- not to say there wasn't any prior corruption, but that it's now to a much greater degree than we've seen before. The honorable men have been steadily pushed out, and the Pentagon has been infested with bushies.

And let us not forget to give dishonorable mention to our mighty corporate overlords; who take their marching orders from the financially and politically powerful as to what information shall be deemed suitable to feed to the masses, and what information about the masses shall be deemed profitable to give up to the State.

I'm sure I could think of more to add, but it gets rather dispiriting after awhile. There are so many powerful forces on this planet arrayed against the common human being who wants nothing more than to be able live her life in peace; to find a partner to love and share life with, to raise healthy and happy children, to have a good place to live and good food and water, to make art, to write, to dance, to tell stories to each other...

For billions of human beings on this planet, that would be enough. But because there can NEVER be enough for a certain small percentage of the world population, all the other billions of us are held hostage. Our lives and fates being decreed and decided by a few thousand sociopaths.
