Hopefully there will be a phone call from her later and her and her husband will be all right.

1. I hope she and her husband are ok.
Keep us updated. I can't imagine the waiting and not knowing.

5. Guess so.... And I don't think they usually see much action... The
biggest thing that has happened lately is trying to make their marriage survive by living on an Iraq base in dorm-sized quarters. Talk about a stressful situation.

4. Not sure on details... Camp is on blackout... Can't get ahold of them
yet. 2 dead, 40 wounded. I don't know does it sound like an attack. My sister-in-law talks to her the most. She IM'd her earlier. Hopefully, she'll be able to call later.

9. One of my co-workers called in from there last night. He said...
.... that he was "dodging rockets" as he called. I guess there were seven in total. That's a few more than they usually get off these days, but not particularly out of the ordinary. I'm not on Victory, but we usually take indirect fire about once a day.

12. Thanks for the update
It's nerve-wracking for those of us with family there. I mean the not-knowing part just drives you nuts.

I'm fortunate in that my brother has computer access and has a relatively safe job (not including the traveling part)
