Massively stupid and reactionary LTTE today
Where do they find these people and why do I torture myself by reading Letters to the Editor anyway? Every time I read them, there's at least something that makes me roll my eyes, and sometimes something like this little gem:

Women lack strength to lead nations
last updated: October 11, 2007 02:55:41 AM

We need strength, not weakness. If Hillary Clinton wins the presidential election, it will be a big loss for our country. On Sept. 26, I watched the Democratic debate and I am convinced that Clinton would be the worst president our country has ever had. She is weak and not really qualified to be our president.

Men have always been our leaders since the beginning of our nation, and it should always be that way. All the world's countries have men as their leaders -- did you ever think of that? Women have the right to help our government, but not as president. It would be such a risk to our nation. We need a brave, qualified, strong, wise man to lead us.

4. You gotta remember....
the papers want to stir controversy and interest readers. If somebody wrote a LTTE that babies taste great with a little chipotle sauce, they'd publish it so that people like us would write letters of outrage and fill their fishwrap with something of interest.

5. Brave wise strong man is that why she voted for bush remember
he and the rest of his crew, never fought in a war to help defend this country, the brave strong wise men they are. They spent most of the war getting deferments and hiding. I like those brave strong men don't you all.

7. Its hard to believe these conservatives think Bush and administration
are going to "protect" them. When Cheney had 5 deferments because he had "more important things to do" you wonder what conservatives use for brains. Personally I think they are gutless as they want others to fight on the front lines but not their sons/daughters. It is a fact most upper level Republicans have not or their young have not served in the front lines just like their "protector" Bush.
