'How best to use this honor'
'If you want to go quickly, go alone.'
'If you want to go far, go together.'

Could Al be thinking that the best way to 'go far, quickly' is with the presidential office and the American people behind him?.

1. Christ, I hope so. Every shitty cheap shot the media takes at him
convinces me more that the powers that be are terrified of him.

3. I hope he knows
that they are all cheap shots. The world loves him. The media finds fault - even in his wisdom.

5. They must be.
The ABC news update on the radio this morning, instead of honoring him, asked random people in Houston, TX if they thought AL deserved it. The 4 or 5 reposes were about half and half. Why report it that way when someone has earned such an honor?

4. Obvious conclusion. But will he make the leap?

6. I guess it depends on
whether his concerns for the immediate future outweigh his concerns for the less immediate but still near future.

He has a better grasp on what the future holds for our planet than most of us. He also has a sole grasp on what he can deal with on a personal level.

If he has the courage, I think he will run, even at the risk of defeat.
