"FIRST THEY IGNORE YOU,
THEN THEY LAUGH AT YOU,

"The Capitol was evacuated after the electrical power went out. People said it was the quickest loss of power in Washington since Al Gore." --Jay Leno

THEN THEY FIGHT YOU,

Sen. Inhofe (R) Blocks Gore's Live Earth Concert
Crazed flat-earther James Inhofe (R-Okla) is blocking the plans for Al Gore’s ‘Live Earth’ concert to be held at the Capitol

THEN YOU WIN"

Statement from Al Gore on winning the Nobel Peace Prize:

"I am deeply honored to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. This award is even more meaningful because I have the honor of sharing it with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change--the world’s pre-eminent scientific body devoted to improving our understanding of the climate crisis--a group whose members have worked tirelessly and selflessly for many years. We face a true planetary emergency. The climate crisis is not a political issue, it is a moral and spiritual challenge to all of humanity. It is also our greatest opportunity to lift global consciousness to a higher level.
My wife, Tipper, and I will donate 100 percent of the proceeds of the award to the Alliance for Climate Protection, a bipartisan non-profit organization that is devoted to changing public opinion in the U.S. and around the world about the urgency of solving the climate crisis."

1. Oh, the fighting part sucks the worst, and that's saying something after the ignore and laughing
part of it.

But, it's true, so there you go. MKJ

4. We are all creatures of habit, and thats why it won't stop until our numbers
are reduced. Yes a planetary die off of humans, cause when you boil it all down thats what global warming is, just that simple. and we have pretty well written the ending of the story ourselves. Everything from the poison we pump into the atmosphere to the heating up of the globe, the plane trip to visit mom, the car trip to see the changing colors. Our right to waste, is the core problem

Texas now has a monsoon season and the central states haven't had real rain since before August. I know the corn came in this year and there were decent yields and the farmers are making money, big deal.. No moisture in the ground means there won't be a winter wheat crop germinating. So party on, mother nature knows how to fix this and she's patience.

5. Great post. There were 3600+ news articles yesterday on google
I have never seen Bush garner that many related articles. Come to think of it, that is the highest number I've seen to date.
