Gore in Democratic race actually helps Clinton
An InsiderAdvantage/Majority Opinion poll conducted hours after the announcement of former Vice President Al Gore’s Nobel Peace Prize indicates that Sen. Hillary Clinton actually benefits from having Gore in the presidential mix.

In the nationwide poll conducted Friday evening, Clinton had the support of 43 percent of likely Democratic primary or caucus voters – a 12 point jump from a similar national poll conducted by the organization Oct. 4-7.

When included in the presidential field, Gore was in second place with 15 percent. But his numbers come from a drop in support for the other Democratic candidates and a dramatic decrease in undecided voters from 25 percent to 5 percent...

12. Actually, it's worse...Matt Towery is the Chairman and CEO of your source...
Matt Towery:

Mr. Towery served as the chairman of former Speaker Newt Gingrich's political organization from 1992 until Gingrich left Congress. He is a former Georgia state representative, the author of several books and currently heads the polling and political information firm InsiderAdvantage.

5. I have trouble believing this - I know I've seen other polls showing him
in the lead if he entered the race.

If democrats are really that taken with Hillary - it is not evident here in Los Angeles. I sense people are 'for her' only because she is 'inevitable.' I've yet to meet one other dem who really is excited about her -- they might think she would be the best candidate -- but are not enthused.

Personally, I think HIllary will lose. She seems like another 'careful, souless' candidate we too often field. She's not Bill.

17. She may be smart; but he had heart. She's cold and calculating -- a fine
cerebral candidate - again! But she doesn't connect emotionally.

18. With corn!
Well then, Senator Clinton need not worry.

As for me, I wish to test out that poll induced theory.
