So what's the big deal with Al Gore winning the Nobel Peace Prize?

It's not like Georgie won't have a closet-full of them once he leaves office and starts 'topping up the coffers' with his electrifyin' speechifyin' in the years to come.

the lack of internet connections? As much as we love Al Gore & 'Nance Rants', It is interesting to 'hear' you say "Ottawa (blechh)" so what's the problem?
We are big fans of Al Gore and the climate change dialog, maybe you've heard of the Iqaluit environmentalist that was nominated as well,
Canadian Sheila Watt-Cloutier, an Iqaluit-based environmental activist. It's not like we're not all in this together. I guess I'm just being 'touchy'.

I'm in Ottawa every so often for work, and it always winds up as an unmitigated disaster for me. Just a 'bad luck' place for yours truly.
