Trailing clouds of stardust, he's graced the political stage with

his presence. Boy, the Rs sure know how to pick 'em. Fred Thompson is the single most uninspiring speaker I've ever heard. He's on CSPAN now. What is it with them and actors? Especially since they loathe liberal Hollywood. Reagan had the same type of personality. Crack a joke now and then while spoonfeeding a crowd with purely self-serving BS. Morning in America Reduxe crowd at it again.

Stories, as in jokes. He was a good leader, if you are a twisted little personality with no "milk of human kindness" in your nature.
Being able to tell a joke, something most politicians aren't very good at, is not a good indicator of intelligence or perception.
I clicked over to cspan to get sense of context but he was gone. Future history.
However, on cspan2, I learned a new word.
A questioner made the point that Bush, Cheney and Rumsfenld were hystericalized by the events of 9-11. Too cool!
