One aspect of this "war"/occupation that is hardly ever mentioned but should be
How much is the heavy use of energy/petroleum having on greenhouse gas emissions? How much oil does a fighter jet use in an hour and does it's exhaust go through any sort of cataletic converter? How about an aircrafter carrier and it's assigned battle group? Assault helecopters, hum vees, battle tanks, truck convoys delivering supplies. Just how much oil is our military 'just burning up'? How much further back does that set us on our relief effort for Global Warming. Especially since it is totally unnecessary. Iraq did not attack the USA and in the shape it's military was in it never could. This is an aggressive war, in no way is it Defensive and it appears totally for Profit and the Earth be Damned.

1. We have a winner.
Every time the US goes to war, greenhouse emissions go up. That's the kind of war that the US wages; it's time to stop wasting scarce resources on trying to control the distribution of those resources. It's ridiculous.

Lobbyist influencing their government for their client enrichment.

Tyrannies are much more frugal with their resources.
