Gore "inventing the Internet".

Was just watching Howie Kurtz on CNN and it seems as if the nine "inconsistencies" in Gore's An Inconvenient Truth declared by a nobody judge in Britain by the name of Burton are now accepted as official. And as far as the media is concerned, it's reason enough to deride Gore's win of the Nobel Peace Prize. He doesn't deserve it.

This despite the ripping of Burton's rulings by Robert Parry of ConsortiumNews.com as discussed (sparingly) here:

1. How can the American people be so gullible?

Now, I know that statement was a lie and, apparently, so do you. How did we find out the truth out of this mess they throw at us 24/7. Personally, I read a lot of different sources and watch television sparingly. Hopefully, there will be some way to get the truth out during this election cycle, but I don't hold out a lot of hope.

3. exactly.. this is precisely how our collective dialog is disrupted...

1) Someone in a position of power makes a bogus statement at an 'official' level.
2) Without questioning the logic behind the statement, the MSM parrot the statement.
3) Presto! Now the statement has credibility, and has successfully polluted the dialog on global warming.

The American Media should be held just as accountable as the global warming skeptics when the coastal areas begin to submerge, and further, in general, for the mess we're in now.

5. AL Gore has been getting Negative Crap .......

forever .... and he just keeps on plowing along. This will pass and they will look like fools just like every other time.

Even saw Leno backing him up the other night about his flying on Private Jets and Leno was one of the first to joke about that when it was that attack of the day.

Al Gore is a tough and successful guy and will weather this RW BS.
