What Would You Like Me to Ask Nancy Pelosi?

On Monday, I'm going to be videotaping an exclusive HuffPost interview with Nancy Pelosi. And I'd love your input on what questions I should ask. This will be an informal conversation with the Speaker, an opportunity to delve into the personal as well as the political. Of course, we'll talk about Iraq, SCHIP, FISA, and the other critical issues facing Congress as she heads into the home stretch of her first year as Speaker. But I also want to find out how she balances all her different roles, how she recharges herself, how she manages to get enough -- any -- sleep, and whether she really prays for George Bush. Let me know what questions you'd like me to ask by posting them in the comments section of this post.

3. Why do you consistently go against the wishes of your own constituency?
Isn't the very definition of your job to represent your constituents?

The other question, in all seriousness, 'are you or have you been threatened by this administration in any way?' I can't for the life of me see Pelosi's appeasement as anything other than brutally weak leadership that doesn't understand what they're dealing with or some sort of response to a threat.

4. Since the magnitude of the crimes committed
by the Bush Administration are obvious to even the least informed citizens of the US, therefore those representing us in Congress are more than likely 1000 times more aware of what malfeasance has been committed by Bush and Cheney, what is the real reason that you are obfuscating and obstructing impeachment proceedings in Congress?

5. Why the HELL did you announce taking impeachment off the table?
The only way to prevent these lunatics from starting WWIII is by holding their feet to the fire with a promise to issue articles of impeachment immediately should one more bullet, one more bomb be aimed at one more country.

8. Ask her what the hell THIS MEANS:
The Constitution, Article II, Section 4:
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

The Constitution, Article I, Section 3:
The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments. When sitting for that Purpose, they shall be on Oath or Affirmation. When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside: And no Person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two thirds of the Members present.

Judgment in Cases of Impeachments shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust, or Profit under the United States, but the Party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment, and Punishmnet, according to Law.

Ok, let's presume we'll get as many answers as there are questions.

#1. Do you know any (or enough) about the following two subjects (or "criminal enterprises," if you will)?

b) PNAC - Project for a New American Century: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_oet&address=358x223

#2. Given that you know enough about these subjects (or "criminal enterprises," if you will), you remember many Enron crooks got caught looting the corporation's employees and shareholders (and, by extension, millions of customers) for years, and their "criminal Enterprise" was ultimately shut down for good. Except for whistle-blowers, we haven't heard of anyone losing their legs or losing their lives due to these convicted conspirators and thieves.

Well, if you look at the big picture, the Bush family "criminal enterprise" and their cronies at the PNAC are doing worst misdeeds, and this time not on employees and shareholders, but on the troops and all taxpayers of the entire country, and they don't (really) care how many lose limbs or get killed by their despicable lies and pure acts of treasons. Yet, they still control the propaganda (more and more citizens, two out of three, see it as it is, and don't want these terrorizing crooks to continue running the country to the ground any further), so the question is, what do you intend to do to, first, effectively remove these war criminals from the power they usurped (and the words are: "effectively remove"), and second, comply with your oath of office (I guess I don't have to describe it here)?

#3. When will you stop making "secret deals" and refuse to represent the will of a majority of your constituents?


So many more, but I'll leave it at that for now. Although, based on our most recent experiences, we're not expecting truthful answers that would effect real changes in these very important matters, let's hear them anyway.
