DON IMUS TO RETURN TO AIRWAVES IN DECEMBER: REPORT

October 15, 2007 -- Don Imus will return to radio airwaves Dec. 3, six months after the shock jock shocked America when he muttered a racial slur during his CBS radio show, Drudgereport.com reported.

The "Imus in the Morning" show will air on WABC in New York City, sources told the Web site. Matt Drudge, who runs drudgereport.com, also has a radio show on the Citadel-owned radio station.

Recently Citadel Broadcasting CEO Farid Suleman defended the shock jock.

"He didn't break the law," Suleman told The New York Times. "He's more than paid the price for what he did."

A source told drudgereport.com, "We'll have him on a standard 40-second delay. Don is rested, humbled, and ready for war!"

but I'm guessing he will not be syndicsted and he'll never be back on TV where you actually have to look at his pruny face.

He's toast - he's yesterday's news and he won't have even as much of an impact as he did before.

I'm convinced the nappy headed ho's controversy was stoked by the networks lookin for an excuse to dump him due to really crappy ratings. He was near the bottom of the morning drive time ratings in the NY market.

if you can't hear them, are they really there?

they'll soon get tired of going on a show that nobody listens to.
