I've seen that option on many ballots.

I know, I know... it's never happened before (to my knowledge; please correct me if I'm wrong) in the US, but then, a great many things that have never happened before in the US have happened in the past six+ years.

5. It's an option in most states, but a poor one, imho, if VP Gore doesn't want to be a candidate.

(aside) I voted for the first Clinton/Gore ticket as much for the VP candidate as the Pres. candidate. Usually I look at the top of the ticket, primarily, but that one was a great combo, imho. And redux, in the next election.
