you're a woman who doesn't want to see abortion rights eroded.

If you're an immigrant who doesn't want to be thrown into detention camps.

If you don't want to see a monster ugly wall built on the U.S. Mexican border.

If you're an illegal immigrant who has a child born in the U.S.

If you're that child.

If you care about the environment.

If you care about the federal judiciary.

If you care about retaining the inheritance tax.

If you care about shifting some of the tax burden to the wealthiest.

If you want to millions of children get health insurance thru SCHIP.

If you're gay or a lesbian, or care about equal rights for gays and lesbians, and transgender persons.

If you want to see Habeas Corpus restored.

If you want to see a muscular War Profiteering Prevention Act passed.

If you want to see any movement toward ending the war in Iraq.

3. honestly, those are just the tip of the iceberg
I don't even want to think about the things which could happen - I mean, in 2000, how many people saw us getting to where we are now?

Also, what about the blossoming attempt at turning America into a Theocracy, and the general ransacking of our constitutional rights?

And as another poster said, I think anyone with a little empathy and who is passionate about stopping the damage to our country can see the difference.

4. I know I didn't even begin to cover
all the difference, but I thought I'd give a stab at touching on a few of them.

8. I appreciate it
I wish more people would look at the big picture here: that we (the nation) cannot afford another Republican President right now. Or ever, but especially right now.

5. Here on DU, shopping at WalMart can preclude you from being a Progressive, but
being pro choice, pro equality for gays and all the rest of your list can leave you indistinguishable from the Republican candidate.

There's a hypermagnification of minor differences and an extreme minimization of significant differences.
