my text messages with someone about the water restrictions in Charlotte and area
So it was the news that cities like Atlanta, Monroe and charlotte have about 130 or so days of water because of the drought. I texted everyone this info and asked them to conserve water... here is a msg per msg with one guy .... please share your thoughts

HIM : its all a hoax, the world is 75% water

ME :typical bushbot answer the worlds surface is 75% water and most of that is salt water. The lakes are drying up fast and we are running out of water.

HIM:As much technology we have we can purify salt water. Just you hippies saying we don't have enough

ME: So they are making up the water restrictions and the fact we have no water.

HIM: Yes they are. They have a system in place that will transport water from the sea , purify it and
supply us water

ME: So where is the infrastructure and where is the money coming from to do this?

ME: where can i find facts on this

HIM: US.GOV

Me: more direct link please

HIM: but they won't say it cause they are making money on fining people when we are in a 'drought'

ME: in a 'drought'?

HIM: maybe we should sue the bottle companies for taking all our water and paying people to say we are in a drought.

ME: how can you deny the drought when you drive by Lake norman and see that is dried up?

ME: How about we start doing something NOW about stuff and take care of the suing etc later

HIM: I don't give a shit, if the bottle companies are selling water then I am going to water my lawn

ME: have a nice day!

1. Better call the local water utility. The man is pissing all the water away on his lawn.
And for that guy's information, water desalinization technology used today is tremendously energy-consuming and money-consuming. Unless he wants to pay higher taxes for the water pipelines and the expensive facilities, he should put up with the water restrictions or pay the goddamn fines.

3. Just now they are talking about restrictions?
This should have been done a year or more ago. mandated. there are no de salination plants to drop in the ocean and begin pumping drinkable water in 100 days.

Why hasn't this been huge news for loooooooong time?
