Sarkozy, Brown and Mbeke at the finals of the
Rugby World Cup greeting the players at the end of the match - in the background the two English princes. Never forget the politics of global sport. Why is the US always out of the picture? Bravo South Africa.

Holy shit that French President is short. The England players weep - ah well. RSA played the better rugby. This one's for you Lucky Dube!!

The last time they won in 1995 it was Mandela on the platform. I'm glad he's alive to see how far they've come in terms of integrating the sport.
