FReeper founder posts: NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LIFE (his caps)
I don't know if this will stay up, but the irony should not be lost on DUers, as FReeper founder Jim Robinson posts about the sanctity of life during the same week that his crowd has fought providing health care for kids and heat this winter for poor seniors. Once again, they simply don't see it: Despite their rage, life doesn't begin at conception and end at birth.

I agree more people should live to their potential and make it on their own (nobody should be a leech, duh, but do they know what "government subsidy" is and how many large corporations freely partake from it and as such coining the phrase "Corporate fathers blame welfare mothers"...)

I love it when freepazoids rant and rave "Individual, look out for #1, me me me, screw you" and then wonder why nobody enlists.

The next time they rant and rave of selfishness, maybe they should be asked if our troops SHOULD come home. Or at least ask them where they see the line between the individuality Reagan, et al, have taught and our "national community" that transcends both political parties.

As the song goes, "Money for nothin'..."

Oh, I know of some of the things they say and concur on the context which transcends selfishness, but for other things they prove themselves to be only hypocrites.

Jim Robinson has a sick and twisted view of life, but at least it is a "view," unlike Bush/Cheney, who have no view of life whatsoever - only of death and power.

14. I would respect the views of "pro-lifers" on abortion if they were really pro-life
If they understood that life must be supported at all stages, not just in the womb. In fact, if you value the baby in the womb, all the more reason that pregnant women should receive full medical care and preventative treatment. Universal health care for all Americans would save thousands of lives every year, and probably reduce abortions as well.

The Gilded Age, fend for yourself, 1890's mentality is not at all pro-life, to say nothing of their advocacy of a foreign policy that calls for preemptive wars, militarism and killing thousands of innocent people who just happen to get in the way.

to hunt exotic animals on a filthy rich freeper property for pleasure for a price. They probably raise those exotic animals from birth until fully grown for their FUN FUN FUN. This goes for unborn babies, too so that they can grow up to be dead soldiers for their (freepers)'s pleasure and fun rather than playing with toy soldiers.
