I will NEVER vote for Kucinich.
If Kucinich wins the Democratic nomination, I will NEVER vote for him.

I will take my voting machine and go home.

I will pout. And watch Guiliani win so I can continue pouting and acting like a frickin baby.

So there.

That was a bad enough mistake ... I don't need to make another.

1992 and 1996 don't count.

15. No that is horsesh*t.
You put your damn country before yourself.

If your candidate doesnt win the nomination, you take one for your country and vote.

Or STFU.

Look what happened in 2000 with Nader. Instead of voting for their country, they whine like a bunch of damn babies and voted Nader.

And look where it got us. Nearly 4000 dead in an unecessary war, our reputation gone to crap. And all for what? Principals?

No. Stupidity.

28. Read what you want into it.
When the time comes that Hillary is the nominee, you either are or you are not a Democrat.

And if you are a Democrat, you vote like a Democrat.

And if you are not a Democrat, then you get the hell off of DU. It is really that simple.

32. Excuse me, but I'm an American first and foremost, and my loyalty is to my country
Not to a political party, not to a candidate, I put my country above partisan politics. I will vote in a manner that I see is consistent with the good of my country. If that means voting Green, so be it. I don't owe blind allegiance to a party, in fact the party and the candidate have to earn my vote, which is as it should be. If Hillary, or any other Democratic candidate want my vote, then they have to prove that they will do what is best for this country. So far, the only one who is doing this with consistency is Kucinich. In fact Hillary is about the least consistent, and frankly it is my opinion that she's simply another corporate whore who will sell our country down the river for that filthy corporate lucre.

Oh, by the by, you aren't the admins around here, so you have absolutely no place demanding that people get off of DU. I would also suggest that you read the rules, it specifically states that Democrats and progressives of all stripes are welcome. You have no ground upon which to stand, and no right to be demanding that people leave here, so I suggest that you STFU about such matters.

His Dept of Peace is the single stupidest idea I've ever heard of by a presidential candidate. Read his site about it, and try to restrain a laugh - he appears to be serious.

Edited on Mon Oct-22-07 12:23 PM by mike_c
If so, check the history of the DoD. I don't think a dept of peace is laughable at all-- quite the opposite. I'd LOVE to see a cabinet level post for someone explicitly charged with PREVENTING war.

35. I don't care about the name.
It's the content and the mission that DK has outlined. Stupidity. Naivete.

It's embarrassing (or it should be) for someone who is seeking to be the president of the United States.

37. Peace.
Can't have that. Everybody knows the President of the Divided States must always promise peace and it can only be done by shoving machine-guns and ICBMs at everybody's faces in the rest of the world.

Why it never truly worked and will never work, we don't care... :sarcasm:

Anyway, this planet is f**ked beyond repair (man-made climate change & pollution), so why bother if DK's ideas (stupid experiments?) are naive?

We've got to keep the status quo right 'til we reach the edge of the cliff (we're getting closer to it each minute, so why try something else?)...
