CalFire servers have crashed. Anyone know anything?

All I know is my San Diego (Rancho Penasquitos) sister is preparing to evacuate with her husband and 28 cats.

6. She does rescue.

Most of her cats are terminal with Feline AIDS or leukemia. They bring the dying to her and then they live for 15 more years. She's pioneered all kinds of treatments for them. Her vets keep adopting her techniques.

Some of these cats traveled cross country in their personal hammocks when she married and moved out there. Some of the others fulfilled a promise to a dying friend. She flew back to NYC to take Karen's cats.

And the last I heard there was a voluntary evacuation in a town (Green Valley) about 15 miles down the road.
Thinking I should just high-tail it to the in-laws...

Evacuating with 28 cats seems like a huge endeavor. I hope she finds a save place to stay and that nothing happens to their house.

10. You're welcome. Hope it works out for her. Large animals such as horses, etc. are

being accepted at the Lakeside Rodeo grounds. I guess cats are OK at Qualcomm Stadium if they are all in cages.

Did I mention my sister married into a family of very good people?

Gov. is saying 10 percent is under control. But that's Malibu.
