Two new fires.. Stevenson Ranch (near Magic Mountain) & Crestline

and ALL MOUNTAIN ROADS ARE CLOSED

Fire name: Stevenson Fire -
Location: Valencia - Stevenson Ranch area near Santa Clarita - In a canyon north of Stevenson Ranch subdivision, South of Magic Mountain
Fire has jumped Potero Rd.
Initial Sizeup: 1/4 acre
Current size: 50 acres.+ acres, 0% containment.

2. Yes it does.

It just never ends soon enough, it seems.

I lived in Palmdale from '01 thru 04 and drove all over SoCal during some of the really bad fires back then. A large area near Magic Mountain burned in '03 if i am not mistaken. All along the area between rtes 118 and 126 from I5 all the way to Ventura.

3. Disaster for Southern Cal

I've been watching and listening to coverage nonstop for 24 hours and this is just heartbreaking on so many levels.

What if nearly all of these fires were intentionally set? Doesn't it seem likely that the are being set by arsonists?
