Kuncinich to Call for Impeachment of Bush Consideration!
"I'm going to talk to members of Congress this week and tell them taking impeachment off the table is a big mistake," he said.

It response to threats of WWIII and war with Iran, Kucinich will urge Congress to not keep Impeachment off the table.

The article didn't mention a resolution to be introduced, however.

15. kucinich, while the others are campaigning
and throwing and slogans and raising controversy, kucinich still campaigns and still is an active member of congress and still puts bills on the table. For those of you who keep calling kucinich "out" because "no one" will ever sign them, then you need to get on your reps to sign them, not kucinich who puts the bills out their.

Kucinich: Congress Must Stand Up To The President’s Dangerous Rhetoric On Iran

Washington, Oct 18 -

"Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) released a statement today in response to President Bush’s belligerent statement toward Iran. The President said, “So I’ve told people that if you’re interested in avoiding World War III, it seems like you ought to be interested in preventing them from have the knowledge necessary to make a nuclear weapon.”

“After the lies and deception used to lead us to war in Iraq, the belligerent Bush Administration cannot be given leeway with statements that suggest a preemptive attack on Iran is necessary to avoid a larger war,” Kucinich said.

“This has a feeling of déjà vu,” Kucinich said. “The Bush Administration is once again attempting to convince the American public to accept that a war with Iran is inevitable. Congress must exercise the power granted to it under the Constitution and rein in the President’s power.

“Bush’s deliberate and calculated comments are setting the stage for more chaos in the world and in the process is making the United States less safe. It is time to begin a serious discussion of impeachment.”

25. For the love of
Yeepers, the dems have no balls or guts or backbone, Arnie is right, they are girly men.

There is no way they will try to impeach.

Dennis is the only one that has a spine.

I Remember 2006, and I read on the items on DU, all the links to John Conyers Jnr's web page and all the speeches by Nancy, they were screaming "IMPEACH"

I guess they were all talk and no action.

Its too late now.

34. Right...
Well you know everyone gives most of the Dems a free ride in getting out of Iraq by saying "but the Democrats don't have 60 votes in the senate."

It amazes me that they don't extend that position to cover one of the ONLY Democrats in congress to openly speak out to what a large percentage of the population is saying.

More people are against a Hillary presidency then they are against impeachment and yet what does the face of the democratic primary process look like in the eyes of the media?

There is much here that is wrong.

35. Kucinich has not been effective
at legislating in the House. He never has been. He hasn't been a leader. Those are just facts. It may be unfair, or it may be that he lacks the skills to build relationships and coalitions.

to read the 1974 House Judiciary Committee report on Constitutional Grounds for Presidential Impeachment. One of the authors was Senator Clinton. Many things have changed since then. The Constitution hasn't.

38. I admire his efforts, but would rather he be working
the cloakroom to stop the funding of the war. As much as I loathe the Bushies, I think our Dems need to start doing what they were elected too....end the war. Impeachment at this point is just another distraction from that goal.

51. The Worst Thing IS
The Worst Thing IS, Bush won't be impeached, WWIII is going to start when we invade Iran, and soon we'll be facing huge strikes here AS A RESULT of our aggressive actions. But you could never prove it to a Republican wingnut. They would say that when we get attacked, it indicates an occurrence that would have been a lot more had we not been bombing Iran. How idiotic are these Kool-aid drinkers? Their logic smells like...well...like shit!
