Nobel Laureate Al Gore To Attend "Green Bulgaria" Party Conference March 2008

AL GORE ACCEPTS BULGARIAN ENVIRONMENTALISTS’ PARTY INVITATION FOR CONFERENCE

Former US vice-president Al Gore had accepted the invitation of the political party Green Bulgaria to take part in an in international conference on the fight against global climate changes and the new challenges before the Balkans in 21st century.

The conference will take place in March 2008, Focus news agency reported.

World famous experts, who fight against the climate changes, will attend the conference.

Green Bulgaria had sent Al Gore a special letter and a copy of a documentary calling for environment preservation of Bulgaria’s nature.

The documentary revealed the ‘inconvenient truth’ about Bulgarian nature and was the Bulgarian version of Gore’s documentary An Inconvenient Truth, which had brought him Noble Peace Prize, Focus said.

I suspect that now that he has a much lofiter pulpit to speak from as a Nobel prize winner, he will be getting many invitations like this and many chances to use this to inspire people globally.
