Airlines waive change fees due to California firesUnited and other airlines are waiving change fees for certain flights and airports because of the Southern California wildfires.
On its website, www.united.com, today United Airlines said the waiver affects passengers traveling today, Oct. 22, through Oct. 25 using airports in the following 10 California cities: Burbank (BUR), Carlsbad (CLD), Los Angeles (LAX), Ontario (ONT), Oxnard (OXR), Palmdale (PMD), San Diego (SAN), Santa Ana (John Wayne; SNA), Santa Barbara (SBA) and Santa Maria (SMX).
The waiver covers flights by United, United Express and Ted Airlines.
