W to visit California fire zone Thursday
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Bush mobilized federal emergency assistance Tuesday on behalf of Southern California officials struggling with devastating wildfires, and scheduled a visit to the stricken region on Thursday.

"The president wants to travel to California to witness firsthand what the people there are going through with these wildfires," White House press secretary Dana Perino said. "He wants to ensure that the state and local governments are getting what they need from the federal government and he wants to make sure to deliver a message in person to the victims that he has them in his thoughts and prayers."

have been destroyed. Time or a photo op and a great FEMA PR blitz after the homes have been destroyed. See all the 747s that should have been there since Saturday night and Sunday -they have arrived. Great show after the destruction. See the National Guard driving through gridlock from Bush's border patrol. See the rest of the National Guard in Iraq.

13. My prayer is that * someday gets his photo op Stihl Chain Saw ....
.... and goes out by himself to "clear brush." "It" would not take
long.


I have only seen it once but in Aug. 2001 their is video of bush cutting
a big log as he stood downslope .... he got his saw "bound up" and smacked
somebody when the log cracked and one section "whipped" uphill.

1500 whole national guard troops.

Mother fucker has more guards than that in his living room. I hope he gets boo'd off the field like his daddy did when he tried to throw out the first pitch in the all star game at the same stadium that all the evacuees are right now.
