Lou Dobbs goes off on Bush and Private Security in Iraq
Just now. He's upset over Private Security being used to provide protection for US Military. I guess the General who got wounded was being protected by British Private Security Group.

2. I saw that...
I don't watch him regularly but switch back and forth between several channels during this time of day...I guess hoping for a miracle that someone other than KO does his/her job. Consistently.

I heard he was out a couple of weeks ago for a tonsillectomy or something? But, man...he looks really bad. And has he always been so emotional in his tirades? I know the immigration thing gets him riled up, but each time I've seen him lately, he seems...well, almost vicious. Like he's ready to spit.

There was a thread a couple of weeks ago where some people thought he was drunk. He was slurring and acting odd, though I wasn't as convinced it sounded drunken, per se.

What's up with Dobbs?

3. I've noticed the same. My first thought was he was trying to emulate KO.
I don't doubt he is angry, but he is taking up so much time with his rants and the reporters appear frustrated that they can't give their findings. I've noticed this since he came back from whatever was going on...my thought was he might have had a small stroke, but they surely wouldn't let him get his blood pressure up if that had been the case. He also appears to have had some dental work done.

Don't know.

4. Dental work!
Funny you say that, because in the thread from a couple of weeks ago regarding him appearing "drunk," Icommented that his speech oddity seemed to be more denture related to me. My mom sounds like that when she gets new dentures.

It's very minor in the scheme of things, but thanks for confirming the dental observation. I was roundly dismissed and most were adamant this had nothing to do with it.

Any little tidbit of validation these days, especially here, is welcome. (NOTE to those ready to pounce on any post that may reveal a potential weakness: I'm NOT seeking approval here or anywhere else...I'm just saying validation once in a while when everything seems insane is a bonus. And, yes, the environment at DU at times makes me hesitant to interact about the most benign subjects, let alone anything I value tremendously. Life's enough of a bitch without UNNECESSARY confrontation and agitation. End Rant - geez...sorry...didn't see that coming...lol)

Back to Dobbs: maybe he's frustrated with his new dentures?
