All of this infighting is getting so frustrating
The Republican party and its band of degenerate nominees are in an absolute shambles, as right-wingers either hate them or consider the ones they love to be unelectable.

And all we can do here is piss away this golden opportunity to make them irrelevant not just in 2008 but in the next election cycle or cycles as well, with all this idiot infighting and bickering here. It disgusts me to no end that Democrats can't just agree to debate each other civilly and agree to support the eventual primary winner regardless of who it is,. This goes for the candidates as well as their supporters, here and elsewhere.

1. The primary is where we are supposed to make our candidate reflect our views.
Where did you see the Democratic candidates refuse to debate each other civilly? Post a link or explain yourself. Or is this another "Democrats can not co-operate" thread?

6. Well, I think it's so obvious that the GOP has very long odds of winning ...
Edited on Fri Nov-02-07 12:25 AM by TahitiNut
... that the "any ship in a storm" conservatives and corporatists are putting money and influence into the Democratic primary. If they can't get what they want using the the GOP ... well ...

As an independent liberal, I have no illusions about "purity" or "brand loyalty."

I also believe the following graphic is far more accurate than many are willing to admit.

11. Tarc? Where'd ya go?
It would be helpful if you could elaborate
on the problem.
Perhaps then we could work together to solve it...

17. Wow
What happened was, I posted last night, went to sit for a few, and the next thing I knew I was sound asleep. But if I'm going to come back to a couple of jerkish "we're waiting, tap tap tap" posts, then I see that I have wasted my time.

14. That's the nature of democracy. Hate to sound unsympathetic, but get used to it.
It will only intensify as the primary season comes closer. If there is no healthy discussion and disagreement, I'd be afraid for freedom of expression more than anything else.

18. I agree, but
It just doesn't seem healthy at the moment. Seeing Obama and Clinton go increasingly into the gutter to snipe at each other is about as bad as all the "I'll never vote for Candidate XYZ" nonsense here.
