Yes, 166,000 jobs increase. However, an economist said for the last few years, there are fewer people employed now than in prior years and it keeps going down due to jobs being lost.
They don't talk about the livable wage jobs being lost such as Chrysler's announcement of laying off over 12,000 workers and closing plants in addition to ford closing plants and layoffs.
It is my understanding all of these jobs or most were in the service sector naturally as usual.
Also, the economist mentioned that in that report there was a big percentage of temp jobs increased which he says is a sign that companies do not feel confident about the economy so are not committing to full time employment.
Not trying to put a bad feeling on this, we all are happy for anyone who can find a job that needs it but Bush touting this as all due to his wonderful tax cuts for the rich is BS.
