CNN advertising Sicko as the comedy film of the year
Can you believe this crap. They are saying the video is being released. Get your copy and get the funniest video of the year. How can they still do stuff like this.

I wish there was a way you could get a copy of the license of the Cable TV Shows. See what they are allowed to do. And damn it if anybody has the guts sue the S.O.B.

i threaten the Washington Post, about something. I had written several emails and go no response. So I threatened to sue and got emails back asking what they could do for me for three weeks. Not that they were scared but they didn't want the nuisance value.

2. Maybe it's like the "tragic comedy" of Pyramus and Thisbe from Midsummer Night's Dream
You might recall the tragic comedy of Pyramus and Thisbe was the play that the towns' people put on at the King's Wedding reception.

The King said the play required no epilogue because all of the characters were dead. That's sort of like the Republican health care plan.

3. That's GREAT! Whatever gets it into people livingrooms is
fine with me! The very fact that CNN is advertising it at all is a coup.

5. I don't think that is CNN, that is the way the distributers decided to advertise it
Edited on Sat Nov-03-07 09:31 AM by still_one
at least those are the commercials I saw on other networks

I agree, it is a misrepresentation of the movie, and whose ever bright idea that was, isn't to bright

Unless of course you are talking about CNN commentators themseleves, saying the movie is a commedy...

6. Was that a CNN meatpuppet, or a commercial?
If it was a commercial, that's out of CNN's control. Talk to the distributor.

12. That's what I was wondering. I think the commerical says "comedy of the year."
That would be the distributor and/or Moore himself.

7. Republicans might fo see it if they think it is a comedy
I have no problem with this if it gets more people in the door. A lot of people will not see it if they think of it as a political hit job, which is how Republicans see Micheal Moore's movies..The important thing is for people to see the movie...

9. All for it
We live in such a bizarre world where the comedians are the ones who report the truth and the reporters tell whoppers, that this has to be the way to get the truth out.

10. Yeah. Health Care in the US IS a comedy. And the joke's on us.
No one seems to have a problem with socialized policemen, fire departments, road crews, etc. And yes it's the same thing. Taxes go to services = you're safe. Why is this SUCH a problem with health care, which should be a human RIGHT?
