For those who are onboard, here is a 5 step action checklist to do until Nov. 6th when Kucinich will bring H.Res.333 for the impeachment of Cheney to the House Floor. Congress is watching for the public reaction to this, so this is the time to use everything we've got to make sure they will not know what hit them.
Step 1. Call them. If you are shy you can call after hours and leave a message, telling them: "Support the impeachment of Dick Cheney, vote no on the motion to "table" House Resolution 333. Do the right thing, Mike," (or whatever.)
If you don't know who your congressman is, go to this link and put in your zip code, it will tell you.

866.338.1015
Step 2. Email them. Go to
http://www.visi.com/juan/congress/and write in the form. Say your own thing or lift some talking points from:

or

Ask them to get back to you, and ask them when they will possibly available for a visit (even if you can't, maybe someone else can. anyway, it scares them because DEEP DOWN THEY ARE AFRAID OF CONSTITUENTS, and would rather be doing almost anything but listening to someone tell them what a low-down, weasely constitutional-duty-avoider they are.)
Step 3. Write at least 2 e-mails on this easy link to newspapers, do your hometown or just pick a couple. Tell them they are the media and they are responsible for covering anything as important as an official action related to impeachment, as Kucinich's action on Nov. 6th will be. Try something like the Dallas Morning News or other major city daily. Call a newsroom if you like, get chummy with a reporter, and tell him/her about it. Lots of times these guys really aren't aware that something is going on, because usually they are overworked.

Here is a great TV newsroom contacts list from Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting

Or design your own with the following info:
------
Call your congressman! This Tuesday, November 6th, congressional action on impeachment of Dick Cheney!
Toll-free numbers to Congress:
866.340.9281
866.338.1015
Urge them to "support impeachment of Dick Cheney
regarding House Resolution 333. Urge NO on TABLING

Step 5. Last and most time consuming, get in their faces. Every congressman at
http://www.house.gov/ has a "congressional schedules" link on the left, which tells you when they will be in Transportation Committee of whatever, so you can follow him around with a sign saying "impeach." Holler, sit in their offices, get arrested if you have a little time, just make sure you are shouting "impeach! Do your duty congressman !" as loud as you can as you are dragged away so any cameras present will pick it up.

Apparently, Representative Dennis Kucinich will be submitting a privileged resolution (which forces it to be considered on the house floor, but I'm not certain if it requires a vote) calling for the Impeachment of the Vice President. I am not sure if there are any changes to the resolution that he has out there now before he does this, but a link to read the text of it is this:

If you did, or if you think at least one of the articles is accurate and true, you should call and / or write your Representative (Senators don't come into this yet as the Impeachment decision is purely within the House of Representatives) to politely but firmly insist that when the decision to Impeach is brought forth, you want them to vote yes. Effectively lying to the Congress and the People of this country is a high crime or misdemeanor, in my personal opinion, exactly what the Impeachment clause of the Constitution is for. If you disagree that this is a high crime or midemeanor, I would welcome hearing your reasons as to why, because I thought that we were a society with more respect for the truth than saying that it is okay for those elected officers in our government to lie 'by omission' or any other way, or push us unnecessarily to pre-emptively invade another sovereign nation in disregard of international law.
Likewise, if you do not feel that the Vice President did do what all of the articles describe, you should contact your Representative to urge them to vote no on the Impeachment resolution.
I am not asking you to take my word on this, but I am asking you to think critically for yourself about these things. I believe that the current political climate is bordering on a Constitutional crisis, and that any 'red-blooded Americans' (and I use that term loosely) should be stepping up to the challenge and taking part in the direction of our country. And that means telling our elected representatives how best they can represent us.
If you aren't sure who your Representative is, or you aren't sure how to contact them, go to
http://www.house.gov/ and use the Find Your Representative option to find out, from there you should see contact info or links to get to the same.
Do this now, do not put it off...
