The real Sherwood Forest almost gone
It has dwindled from 100,000 acres to 450.

1. That's horrible.
"Now, the ravages of age — and, some fear, climate change — are taking their toll."

2. I visited it back in the 80s. It was a wonderful experience.
I really hope that they can save it.

4. I hope they win the $100 million for their plans to regenerate the forest.
In the U.S., there is less than 1% of our old-growth forests left. If Bush/Cheney had any say about it,
it'd be 0%. Thank goodness for independent-minded federal judges.
