A pair of illustrative false premise questions.
These questions are directed at all elected federal officials that claim to oppose the Iraq occupation.

1. Would you end the Iraq occupation even if it meant sure defeat in the next election?

2. Would you keep the Iraq occupation going, just to make sure you won the next election?

The title of this post is "A pair of illustrative false premise questions". The reason these are questions based upon false premises is because ending the Iraq occupation will assuredly NOT result in a defeat for the Democratic party. And keeping the Iraq occupation going will NOT result in certain victory for our party in the next election.

Trouble is, most elcted officials that claim to be against the Iraq occupation will accept the false premises of the above queries as REAL. That is why we need major change in Washington DC and throughout the country. Unfortunately, we will probably have to hit rock bottom as a country before enough of us realize that we've been had.

Until then, keep up the good fight my friends, we have come far, but we have a long way to go.
