No One Claims Responsibility for Mysterious Campaign Phone Calls

Some automated campaign phone calls have been going out to Kentucky households but nobody is owning up to them.

The calls in question that went out Monday claim to be an endorsement of Democratic candidate Steve Beshear by the "homosexual lobby."

The calls direct people to visit the Web site of the Fairness Campaign, an advocacy group for gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans-gendered individuals.

The Fairness Campaign's political action committee has endorsed Beshear but the group says it had nothing to do with the calls.

Unsourced automated calls - smells like Rethug to me.

3. Just received one!

I went to the Fairness Alliance website; they are denying any automated calls. I sent a complaint to the State Board of Elections and would urge others to do the same. Yup, very Rovian.
