Seoul, South Korea (AHN) - South Korea's military said on Monday it will pull out its 210 troops in Afghanistan by Dec. 14. The Defense Ministry will extend, however, the mission of troops in Iraq until the end of 2008.

Seoul had promised pro-Taliban militants in Afghanistan that it would pull out its forces in exchange for the release of 21 South Korean aid workers kidnapped by the insurgent group in July.
