What is going on with the vote AFTER IT CLOSED?? republicans
changing their votes en mass?? there are now more republicans voting nay than democrats??? what is going on?

1. They want Cheney gone worse than we do?

I heard the other day that there is a book coming out about former President Ford which states that there were some factions in the repub party who tried to get Ford to convince Cheney to step down in 2004.

I'm not real sure I understand how all this works and I am inclined to believe the congress critters structured the two houses just for that, to keep us confused so they can continue to abuse us

when they already know that their votes won't change the outcome. In other words ... they get to blame the Dems for ignoring Cheney's crimes and they look like the heroes of our democracy. :eyes:


EDITED: They didn't actually vote to impeach: they voted to keep the motion on the table.

I am totally confused to tell the truth..even when they held the vote for medicare open only a few votes changed???
