1. NO! it will die in committee...it's been in committee since July
DK brought it up under Rule IX because it's gone nowhere in committee. THIS VOTE IS OUT OF ORDER and DK can stop it!

11. no, it really doesn't. Pelosi controls the calendar. she can sit on it forever.
fuck fuck fuck! the vote was OUT OF FUCKING ORDER! Rule IX gives DK's resolution precedence over a vote on the previous question. it didn't have to happen, but Hoyer fucked us.

5. Win or lose, it was the right thing to do
and that's all I've ever wanted.

The ONLY good reason not to impeach someone is that he didn't do anything impeachable.

19. I'd like to think that changes things, but I don't.
The fact of the matter is that it was Republican votes that moved it there.

And the people on our side that we need to take this up (Pelosi, Conyers, Hoyer) have ZERO interest in taking it up.

Last thing we need is for an impeachment vote to fail.

this wouldn't be America!

can you imagine the founding fathers saying that 'gosh better not dump that tea in Boston harbor we might upset someone'
