The PL were bastards to POWs. To us in the air? I don't know. I assumed that the NVA ran the biggest AAA show (Anti-Aircraft Artillery, NOT the American Automobile Association!) in the history of air warfare. Oh, I know the PL had some basic pieces (12.7 mm, and maybe some 14.5s), but the PAVN shooters! Motherfucker! They were good, and they had it all!

11. yes it was it was shortly after I left

I was one of the three postal clerks so I knew everyone of the 500 or so souls there. I didn't necessarily know them all on a personal level but we were all on first name bases. so long ago now it seems, how can that be so when some parts seem like they only happened yesterday, Maybe I guess its just the things my mind choses to dream about I don't know. War is so wrong
