For Those Who Argue that Impeacment is Impractical
Here's a scenario ...

You have noticed that your house is on fire. What would you do first?

A. Pay your bills to avoid late fees

B. Schedule the overdue 30,000 mile maintenance on your car

C. Google Overstock.com for deals on home fire extinguishers

D. Immediately call the fire department

Or, if you simply don't believe that the most important issue at hand is for the United States of America to remain a government of laws, please explain?

13. Yes indeed, especially Ms. Greyhound. I can only imagine that we would have a grand
old time, sipping or smoking our libations of choice, and laughing and making our plans for what to do when.

Again, thanks for being.

16. Well, if you are a republican and it is your house the answer is obvious
...E. Go next door, ring your neighbor's doorbell and when he/she answers, tell them their house is on fire and it spread to your house and you are suing them for damages and filing charges against them for arson.

17. Here's one of my concerns
There aren't enough votes for conviction in the Senate, so Bush would be acquitted and that would be the most disastrous thing that could happen. We don't need anything to backfire and let Bush off the hook, the votes for conviction are needed.

Not.

Let them go on record. Let them defend their vote when the case has been made.

20. What if you know there's no firemen at the fire department?
Then calling them is a waste of time and you get burned in the process.

Same with impeaching scumbags who won't end up being removed by the Senate.

22. Why even solicit answers from unethical cowards?
They're advocating letting criminals walk - there is no way around that fact.

Fuck 'em. Not even worth the time. It's not like THEY'RE going to stop us from calling for a restoration of the Constitution and rule-of-law. I mean, seriously. They have no power to do so.

They probably would have told MLK his fight was "impractical", too.

27. Yes call the fire department... but to
Vapor lock the government. only to be as over reactional as the republicans. does not accomplish anything really. Instead arresting bushy/cheney on the Inaugural podium. Holding them indefinitely as enemy combatants.
1) would keep our government running.
2) would force the rethugs to reconsider their position on burning the constitution.
3)would net World support for our endeavors immediately.
4)is better than the alternative of blowing the wad of public support too soon.
Seeing what Pelosi is doing... will enable us to capture the WH and BOTH houses of congress sooner rather than later.(in 2008) Impeachment will alienate independents and centrist republicans. and Blow away any real chance of gaining majority power.
