Is being correct an act of treason?
What has been the conservative response to:
"We won't find WMD's in Iraq."
"This won't help us catch Osama."
"This war won't last 6 months, we'll be here for years."
"Rumsfeld isn't working out."
"The surge isn't working."

Do you know?

Well, here are some responses:
"Traitor!"
"Blame America first!"
"Un-American!"
"Bush Basher!"
"Why do you hate America?!"

Anyone else see a pattern here?

1. the GOP response is never cognitive, only catharctic
it's the ONLY way they survive. If they were to allow an intellectually-honest playing field the debate would be very short.

2. Being correct is never a popular pursuit.
If we are to believe the scant history, the most "correct" man we know of was tortured to death for his efforts.
The rat fink is always the guy who was right and people can't STAND him!
