Do you believe President Bush's actions justify impeachment? * 579755 responses

Yes, between the secret spying, the deceptions leading to war and more, there is plenty to justify putting him on trial.

89%

No, like any president, he has made a few missteps, but nothing approaching "high crimes and misdemeanors."

4.1%

No, the man has done absolutely nothing wrong. Impeachment would just be a political lynching.

5%

I don't know.

2. They appear to have pulled to plug on voting on this.
I can't imagine why.

4. Bogus
Sorry, but that is a bogus poll from a scientific/survey perspective. Why? Because it doesn't only ask the respondent to say yes or no to impeachment, it adds in the basis for it in the question itself. The "Yes" answer includes the suppostion that there was, in fact, secret spying and deceptions leading to war. With that as a predicate, of course you're going to get a huge number of people saying yes. Take out those predicates, and I'd be curious to see what the poll would say to just a straight-up Yes or No question.

I'm not saying those predicates are false, but from a scientific perspective, it is a bogus poll.

11. Yep... Last Time I Saw That Poll It Had About 250,000 Votes...
Edited on Wed Nov-07-07 08:54 AM by WillyT
Now it has well over half a million.

So maybe the poll remains relevant in some level.

I doubt many of those who voted to impeach, would like to take their vote back!

13. Obviously I voted yes, but I hate MSNBC polls.
Instead of adding all this stuff like "between the secret spying, the deceptions leading to war and more, there is plenty to justify putting him on trial." and "No, like any president, he has made a few missteps, but nothing approaching "high crimes and misdemeanors."", just make the damn poll...Yes, No, and Not sure.
