Ky. Governor Loses Bid for 2nd Term

Snip...

Beshear cruised to a nearly 20-percentage-point victory in Kentucky after a campaign in which he repeatedly reminded voters of accusations that Fletcher directed the hiring of political allies for jobs protected by the state's merit system.

``Tomorrow begins the time when I call on every person in this state to come together with us, join hands with us, because together, folks, we can make Kentucky a much better place to call home,'' the 63-year-old told supporters.

Cronyism don't pay...Ernie Fletcher and Mitch are both loyal Bushies!

The writing is on the wall, IMHO!

3. Can Fletcher's incictment be reinstated after he is out of office? The deal was he couldn't be
tried while in office I believe. He should not be left off scot free. We should get our pound of flesh.

6. In our city, we sent a message to all Democrats: get with the program or get the hell out!
We elected a woefully inadequate mayor 4 years ago. Our beloved mayor of many, many years was retiring, and we simply voted for another Dem on reflex.

Big mistake. The new mayor didn't do her homework and didn't represent her constituents.

Yesterday, we flushed her for our first GOP mayor in many decades.

This should be a hint to all incumbent Democrats who don't represent their constituents.
